Your VCU eID is an alphanumeric string of letters and numbers that identify you. Employees and students don't use the same eID (also known as your V-number, vID, or Banner number).

To register for classes via eServices follow the steps below:

1. First login to eServies by using your my VCU credentials (myVCU username and password).
2. Then click on the Student section.
3. Go to the Registration menu.
4. Click on Banner 9 Registration section.
5. Then click on Register for Classes section.
6. In order to register, select the course term that you want to register and then click next.
7. Enter your search parameters here. It's up to you whether you want to search by subject or any other criteria. Your search results will show up in a list of all classes that meet your specifications.
