6.2 How do I change the name that shows up on UF Canvas?

The "Display Name" you set in myUFL is what is used by UF Canvas. The Display Name is what you want people to see in the UF Directory, like "Mary" instead of "Maryam."

To change your UF Canvas display name follow the steps below:

Go to one.ufl.edu, click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner, and choose "Directory Profile" to change your display name. This change might take 24 hours to show up in UF Canvas instructure.
